OK… so we’re a day late with this email..
I’ve literally just walked back in the door from our Sydney event at the weekend..
A great success.. Even established coaches and consultants are coming back for a 2nd and 3rd time..
In relation to this email.. some people are saying they like the personal touch.. others say ‘just get down to business..’
I’d be interested in your opinion… What do you think? (Hit reply and give us a 2-3 line feedback piece if you feel like it)
Three lessons from the week for ME and YOU..
MASTERMINDS DO MAGIC
Whether it be the Mastermind of our Mal Emery Platinum Group or the Mastermind we created at the Coaching and Consulting Sales Mastery weekend… the lesson reverberated in us yet again..
When you mix with a like minded group of people all comitted to helping each other move forward.. you can’t help but be propelled forward.
Over lunch on Thursday with a colleague in the Mastermind we discussed webinars, franchising, legalities and partnerships all within 60 minutes..
It was a conversation I couldn’t have had in 100 other groups..
But we both shared so many great ideas with each other in such a short time, it will certainly propel both our businesses to a new level.
(In fact, we are going to do some Sales Diagnostics business together that you will benefit from at some point in the future too..)
Lesson for you: Get with a group of people who you can learn from, be challenged and take you to the next level.
Key tip: if your ego is so big that you aren’t open to new ideas or to be challenged… don’t join..
Why ask for feedback then justify the status quo???

CAMPAIGNS NOT ONE SHOT
Another great insight this week was the CD of the month interview I did with Craig Whitely and Roberta Faddoul.
Their brilliant ‘campaign approach’ to marketing has helped propel them to 42nd fastest growing company in Australia in the BRW Fastest Growing 100 List.
Too many of us do one ad… one brochure… one letter… one phone call… and think that is marketing..
Lesson: Map out a 3, 5, 15 touch campaign next time you want to generate new leads… not a flimsy ‘hope and pray’ one shot joke… Remember… It’s Science this marketing thing… not Blind Faith..
PRE LAUNCH, RE-LAUNCH
Another great lesson from the week was the importance of reminding the marketplace what products and services you have.
Just like OMO soap powder…. there is the NEW and IMPROVED version… then they launch the ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY version.. then they relaunch the TRADITIONAL AND SAFE version…
Lesson: Most of us think just because we know our products or services have been around for a while, the marketplace must know about them too… WRONG.. We need to keep reminding them… re-launching… making our marketing NEWS.. and newsworthy..
I put a couple of video clips on youtube outlining some of the other lessons from this week –
Anyway.. time to go..
Have a good week..
If you havent already got our gift.. go to..
