I’m reading the Steve Jobs biography by Walter Isaacson at the moment..
I find myself getting inspired.. angry.. inspired.. angry..
Inspired about his incredible achievements..
Angry about the way he treated people – even those very close to him.
It really is a rollercoaster ride about a very complex but driven person, who really has,
as he used to say ‘made a dent in the Universe’
Whether you use an iphone, iPad, iPod, iTunes or any other Apple product,
Jobs certainly delivered on making what he called both ‘beautiful’ and ‘sexy’ products.
But what I wanted to share with you today was something I read last night
from his 1997 ‘Think Different’ ad campaign..
I found it inspiring – for anyone who ever wanted to Make a Difference
“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers.
The round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently.
They’re not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo.
You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them.
Because they change things.
They push the human race forward.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.
Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
I have attached the video link below.
For this week — be that little bit more crazy….
See the genius in the world around you..
Challenge the status quo..
Go for a more beautiful, sexier, better solution than just the first option..
Make a dent in the Universe..
Keep your world moving forward.
Have a good week.
