So what? I hear you ask.
QUESTIONS TO START THE CRACKING OPEN
So what are you doing today and tomorrow to:
- Generate more leads?
- Optimise the value you give and receive from your present clients?
- Make you and your team positive, energetic, enthusiastic, fired up to win more and do more?
- Make the most of the time you are at work, being 100% efficient and effective?
- Managing your money and your finances using the best products, tools and strategies available?
I was with a client this week talking about being EFFICIENT AND EFFECTIVE in their marketing.
They were spending hundreds of hours on tenders and submissions that had a hit rate of less than 10%.
The Directors were getting to work at 4.30 in the morning and going home at 10 at night.
And this had been going on for weeks..
Was it working?
I reminded them of the old saying
‘if you keep doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result – you’re on the road to insanity..’
They were certainly on the road to burn out and blow up..
We changed strategy.
As Ian Chappell once said and it resonated with me, ‘If you don’t have at least a 50/50 chance of winning, don’t go out on the field..’
Now, if you’re a social sportsman, or you are happy to get beaten or lose money and time, go ahead and play the odds that are less than 50/50.
But don’t kid yourself.
If it’s less than 50/50, you’re going to be up against it.
The name of the game is to get into a position where it’s closer to 90/10 that you’re going to win.
THAT’S CALLED PRE-POSITIONING, MARKETING, PRE QUALIFYING..

Thanks to our coaching session my client is now working a way better plan that will give at least a 50/50 chance of winning – but more like 90/10…
And they can get more sleep, do more exercise and recreation, and lead happier, healthier, more ‘fortune – ate’ lives..
