NEW SALES SCIENCE SEMINAR HITS THE SPOT
Our New Sales Science Seminar on Monday night was an absolute HIT..
One client said:

PSYCH TEST SCIENCE WORKS BUT…
Working with one of our clients this week and they had used a Psych Test to evaluate selling and management styles of their key managers..
The results were both useful and confusing.
The analysis came back as a 15 page report with graphs and recommendations..but..
It was only in the one and a half hour phone call with the Psychologists that it made any real sense as far as management decisions and strategy.
Lesson: if you’re going to use Psych Tests, make sure you use one that compares the candidate results with the requirements of the job.

We made some very valuable decisions on issues like:
- Where do you place a great sales closer?
- Should a great Sales Closer be a manager of a team?
- What size team should a great Sales Closer be managing (if at all)?
Talking of Psych tests, with another client this week and saw how just because someone is nice person, very good at detail and admin, doesn’t mean they will make a good salesperson in an environment where they are required to cold call and close deals..
Account management yes… deal closer no… they are two different personalities and skill sets..
Beware… this is the People Business after all.
